Pop in at your time and we’ll take the lead from you at the door. No waiting room.

Step-free from the pavement, with a ramp into the salon for older and larger dogs.

What happens on a first visit?
Allow an extra 15 minutes. We’ll meet your dog, have a feel of the coat and agree the look with you before you leave. For nervous dogs we sometimes suggest a short bath and tidy first, then the full groom next time.

Does my dog need to be vaccinated?
Yes. Dogs need to be up to date with their core vaccinations, and puppies can come in a week after their second jab. Please bring the vaccination card on your first visit. We also recommend the kennel cough vaccine.

What’s your matting policy?
We won’t brush out heavy matting if it hurts. If a coat is badly matted, we’ll ring you and usually clip it short underneath the mats, so the coat can grow back healthy. Light de-matting is charged per 15 minutes, and we always ask first.

How long will my dog be with you?
A bath and tidy takes 1 to 1.5 hours, a full groom 2 to 3 hours and a doodle or hand strip up to 4. We text you about 20 minutes before they’re ready.

Can I stay and watch?
Most dogs settle much better once their owner has gone, so we ask you not to. We’re happy to text you a photo halfway through.

My dog is nervous or reactive. Can you help?
Yes. Ask for a quiet first slot of the day, and tell us what sets them off. Muzzle-trained dogs are welcome. If a dog is too stressed to carry on, we stop and call you.

What if my dog has fleas?
We’ll give them a flea bath (£10) and clean down the salon before the next dog. Please treat at home too, or they’ll be back in a week.

What if I need to cancel?
Give us 48 hours’ notice and there’s no charge. Missed appointments without notice are charged at half the groom price.
